Why a centrifuge rather than a filter

Contaminants are separated by their mass and not by their size, unlike cellulose-media filters that plug quickly under such conditions.

The extreme capacity of centrifugal filters to remove contaminants from the lubricant gives bearings fresh, clean oil continuously. Bearing life is then extended exponentially.

Several models of different capacities are available. The largest holds up to 6,000 cm³ — 6 litres — of contaminants, and several units can be combined for much greater capacity.

How much flow do you need?

Each model handles a different oil flow. Spinner II asks that the whole sump volume pass through the centrifuge five to ten times per hour. Enter your sump volume and the range you need appears on the scale.
